Hardware Engineer
in the
Raleigh, North Carolina
area. The Hardware Engineer will support secure product development with a focus on FPGA design, embedded systems, and hardware-level security. The Hardware Engineer is hybrid onsite in RTP, NC, though remote candidates in the EST time zone may be considered. The Hardware Engineer will be working in FedRAMP or IL-5 type environments.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and support hardware and firmware-based security technologies
Assist internal product teams deploying hardware and software security solutions
Develop documentation, proof of concepts, reference code, and scripts to support adoption
Participate in architecture, design, specifications, and HDL code reviews
Evaluate system architectures and components for security capabilities and vulnerabilities
Investigate new security threats and technologies and contribute to ongoing education
Perform board-level bring-up and hardware debugging using lab equipment
Support embedded processor-based systems and boot architecture
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience with FPGA design and/or verification using Verilog or VHDL
Experience with embedded CPU systems and hardware testing in lab environments
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Compensation
$100,000–$120,000 annually
