Minimum Requirements Minimum of 1 year generalized knowledge in facility repair and maintenance operations High School Diploma or GED equivalent CCR Title 8, Training on facility specific Central Plant equipment and systems, Passing Competency Assessment by Supervisor within 90 days of hire Must possess a valid California Driver\'s License and must be approved by Dignity Health as an authorized driver of hospital vehicles Preferred Requirements Hospital experience Boiler Operator experience Special Skills Ability to analyze complex tasks, systems problems, designs, and implement the most effective working solution Ability to work cohesively with other team members, and yet able to work alone with little to no supervision Strong working knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical aspects of the Central Plant and building systems Familiar with control equipment and distribution systems Familiar with California Administration Code Title 8, General Industry Safety Orders, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Orders, and Compressed Air Safety Orders Good written and oral skills with strong attention to detail Where You’ll Work
