Create impactful engineering deliverables: Produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations, ensuring every project is built on a solid foundation of accuracy Set the standard: Develop engineering documents that meet or surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements, adhering to processes that guarantee excellence Stay on the cutting edge: Continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques, staying ahead in the nuclear sector Drive quality & precision: Deliver engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs and raise project performance Cultivate strong client connections: Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement Collaborate for success: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well-rounded designs Be active in the field: Perform plant walkdowns on site and ensure structures, systems, and components meet high engineering standards Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Experience in one of the following industries: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), or government (DOE) projects Nuclear Engineering Change qualifications from any site (preferred) 10CFR50.59 Screen and/or Evaluation qualifications (preferred) Knowledge of digital hardware and software components used in digital I&C system platforms Experience in design, installation, and testing of large-scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades at power plants Upgrades may include replacement of turbine/generator control systems with DCS platforms, process computer, and cybersecurity systems Direct involvement in the full digital upgrade life cycle (feasibility studies, procurement specs, design change packages, FAT/SAT, installation, testing) Working knowledge of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Mentorship experience or a desire to mentor early- to mid-career engineers (preferred) Must be able to obtain a badge at a nuclear facility Must be able to perform plant walkdowns Pay
