The Energy & Utilities Analyst, Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will work under the supervision of a consultant or project manager to develop solutions for technical and economic challenges faced by energy and utility clients. Responsibilities include power system studies, power supply planning, due diligence, performance evaluations, site assessments, investment planning, and renewable development. Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret engineering, financial, and economic data for client projects. Apply engineering and financial concepts, practices, and codes relevant to consulting services. Assist in analyzing life-cycle costs, including capital, operation, and maintenance costs. Support technical assessments related to regulatory impacts. Review and modify drawings per project requirements. Support power system planning, including power flow, stability, and reliability analyses. Conduct technical, economic, and financial studies for utility projects. Utilize power system software for transmission/distribution analysis. Assess fossil and renewable generation impacts. Perform risk assessments and develop financial analyses. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client documentation. Support utility system design, planning, and client interactions. Perform other related duties and ensure policy compliance. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited program; ABET accreditation preferred. Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and leadership qualities. Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred. Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located. This position is based in Atlanta, GA, with potential travel to Charlotte, NC, and requires full-time commitment with approximately 10% travel. The role is suitable for recent graduates or those with related experience.
