Senior Technical Account Manager - Exchanges Data at Bloomberg. Location: New York, NY. Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr. Description & Requirements: Bloomberg runs on data and, in the Data department, we acquire, interpret and supply data insights to clients. The Content Acquisition (CA) department manages, acquires and integrates content and data from Exchanges, Brokers, Sell-side and other providers to drive the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream products. The role involves delivering data, news, and analytics through innovative technology—quickly and accurately. Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of market-data/news feed projects driven by the exchange or Bloomberg, aiming to improve existing setups or add new data/products. Ensure the successful delivery of exchange products to Bloomberg customers by meeting deadlines. Maintain relationships and coordinate projects with exchanges, including calls and visits as needed. Act as the subject matter expert for technologies used by exchanges to deliver data content to vendors and assess impact of changes per exchange specifications. Collaborate with Engineering by translating business needs into project requirements and communicating these with Engineering and other involved parties. Translate exchange documentation and technical specifications into business deliverables for new exchange data on Bloomberg. Prioritize projects and manage expectations with internal and external partners. Collaborate with the Data Model (DM) team to ensure alignment with Bloomberg Data Model standards for movement and transformation of market data through Bloomberg’s Feeds Infrastructure; work with DM on new DM features design/release. Conduct testing pre-production and post-release; manage projects from requirements gathering to post-production release. Serve as the client’s main point of contact for issues with exchange market data/news feed products. Qualifications

5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, including exchanges, market data providers or financial institutions. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Data Science, Computer Sciences or related fields. Experience working for an Exchange or in the Market Data industry. Experience collaborating with technical teams to release new features and products. Ability to think critically to improve and develop products. Strong organization skills with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written communication and presentation skills; attention to detail; technically minded. Experience with agile frameworks and lean principles. Nice to have

Knowledge of market data connectivity types. Knowledge of Jira and Agile for product management, including writing requirements. Understanding of FIX, SFTP, HTTP, TCP or other protocols. Experience with data analytics tools; business intelligence tools or similar toolsets. About & Benefits
