Luxury Residential Lead Carpenter (Frame to Finish)
We are a San Francisco based general contractor looking for an experienced and reliable full-time lead carpenter to support projects in and around San Francisco. We are a small but growing subsidiary of a construction company that has been working on luxury homes in the Bay Area for more than 20 years. We have a great pipeline of architect designed projects. We are looking for a hard-working and versatile lead carpenter that can adapt to different needs of our projects as part of a team and independently as needed. The lead carpenter will report to the Operations Superintendent. The candidate should have: Advanced knowledge and skilled execution in framing and finish carpentry 10+ years of experience framing floor, wall, and roof systems in line with structural and architectural plans Ability and willingness to train other carpenters, laborers, and support staff to accomplish objectives efficiently Ability to install windows and doors plumb, square, and level Ability to install cabinetry, crown and base moldings, window and door casings Responsive with communication via text/phone Ability to complete physically demanding work safely with regard to moving and lifting materials, operating equipment, and working on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms Knowledge of related trades such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, HVAC We provide fuel allowance, health insurance, paid time off, 401k, opportunities for growth and advancement.
