The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from home. Responsibilities
Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Adapt lessons to individual learning styles and provide clear explanations of concepts. Utilize the platform features, including AI-powered Tutor Copilot, to enhance instruction and save preparation time. Invoice for tutoring sessions; receive payments through the platform, with payout up to twice per week. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. How You’ll Connect With Students
1-on-1 Online Tutoring — provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring — accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available. Compensation and Logistics
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and may increase for specialized subjects; with the same student, pay can rise up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions. Set your own hours; tutor remotely via the Live Learning Platform (no commuting). We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments. Note:
