What you will do
As a Reliability Engineer, you will review and participate in capital projects to ensure total cost of ownership is considered. Own and optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance processes and systematically identify and eliminate production losses and asset failures through Risk-Based Asset Management and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM).
You will lead efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes value-added preventive maintenance tasks and effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.
Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions.
Utilize MFMEA at the plants.
How you will do it Reduce asset reliability risks for new projects and existing assets.
Elaborate and validate Master Routines per technology (MR), including plant feedback supported by SMEs.
Standardize Master Routines.
Establish long-term governance of Master Routines.
Optimize Preventive Maintenance routines.
Support MFMEA and root cause analysis.
Serve as liaison between Technology SMEs and Plant Maintenance Engineers.
Optimize spare parts inventory.
Provide engineering maintenance support to the plants.
Execute PdM master plan in the plants.
Train PdM Technicians.
Participate in developing design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and evaluating equipment and technical MRO suppliers and service providers.
Participate in final checkouts of new installations, including factory and site acceptance testing to ensure adherence to specifications.
What we look for Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM; Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and reliability, material management, planning, and scheduling.
Ability to speak publicly and teach large groups.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar.
Experience with CMMS/EAM/ERP optimization is desired.
