As an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer, contribute to modernizing critical systems at power-generating facilities by transitioning from analog to advanced digital technologies. Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) to upgrade obsolete analog systems with digital platforms; perform engineering calculations, develop design studies, and contribute to project scopes and cost estimates. Review technical documentation from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure hardware and software meet project requirements. Collaborate with project managers and clients on budget and schedule planning; participate in project meetings to ensure alignment and success. Apply knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry codes, and standards specific to digital I&C systems to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions. Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel, perform walk-downs of plant systems and components, and gain field experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university. Available to start in the next 1-2 months. Design modification experience preferred. Proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations. Knowledge of digital hardware and software components used in digital I&C systems. Experience across the digital upgrade life cycle: feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing. Working knowledge of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work as an individual contributor and in a team. Strong analytical and problem identification/resolution skills; willingness to travel for client and project needs. Note: Some roles may involve work on federal contracts requiring U.S. citizenship; only U.S. citizens may be considered for those positions. Employment Requirements
