About the Team: The Engine Manufacturing team is dedicated to delivering high-performance engines and advancing innovative manufacturing systems that continuously improve cost, quality, and lead time. You’re not just executing on designs; you actively provide input that shapes new hardware iterations and regularly interface with engineers to make critical decisions for the Aeon R program. Having successfully developed and refined processes for our initial development engines, the team is now focused on producing flight engines at rate for Terran R’s aggressive launch manifest. About the Role: Collaborate with engineering and technician teams to develop and incorporate manufacturing processes. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to bring up new specialty machinery for the Engine Integration and Turbomachinery Manufacturing teams. Develop and author Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and best practices for the Production Team. Develop and incorporate training material for various manufacturing processes for the Production Team. About You: High school diploma or GED and experience writing technical documentation. Extensive experience operating with minimal oversight in ambiguous environments. Demonstrated experience building and operating complex manufacturing systems. 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement high-impact process improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to project manage critical projects through deliver. Nice to haves but not required: 3+ years of experience manufacturing hardware for rocket propulsion systems. Experience building and testing complex assemblies. Experience working with NX, Teamcenter, or another CAD package. Relativity Space is committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
