We are seeking an experienced
Senior Bridge Engineer
to lead and manage complex bridge projects. This role involves providing technical expertise, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from initial concept through completion Interface directly with Project Managers to align goals with client expectations and timelines Collaborate with Task Managers to achieve project milestones and ensure efficient resource allocation Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software Conduct field observations and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, design, and quality standards Oversee construction activities to verify adherence to design specifications Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national building codes and standards Mentor and guide early-career professionals, fostering technical growth and career development Review and approve technical work prepared by staff engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards and timelines Oversee quality control processes to ensure high standards Monitor project progress, addressing risks and challenges proactively Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred Proven success in leading bridge and structural projects Experience with DOT design projects Experience conducting field observations and inspections of bridges Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit, and Microsoft Office Experience with structural analysis software such as RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, Visual Analysis, EnerCalc is preferred Benefits
