This role involves managing assigned project designs, coordination, client communication, and construction administration. Experience with temples for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, understanding their standards and guidelines, is preferred. Your responsibilities include:
Designing interior and exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems Documenting calculations to ensure compliance with codes and client specifications Performing quality control reviews of plans, specifications, and calculations Collaborating with Project Managers to meet schedules and ensure complete documentation Reviewing contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals Providing training and mentorship to early-career team members Qualifications needed:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university PE license is preferred 5+ years of electrical design experience Excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Revit experience is preferred Experience with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temples is a plus We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. This position requires mobility to visit various locations, and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are necessary for operating equipment and reading information. The role often involves sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.
