As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of advanced electronics for precision instrumentation. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded systems, analog circuitry, and power electronics in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Design, develop, and sustain electronics for particle counting instruments Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, production, and service teams Develop embedded processor systems and sensor circuitry Troubleshoot and test analog/digital designs including DC/DC converters Create technical documentation and test reports Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware design Proficiency in schematic capture and analog simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) Experience with microprocessors, FPGAs, DDR memory, SPI, I2C, USB Strong understanding of signal integrity and low-noise analog design Familiarity with DC/DC converter design and power sequencing Basic programming skills in C/C++ Seniority level
