Shift: B Crew, 5:30pm-4:00am Tuesday-Friday Exempt straight time OT after 45 hrs worked! What You Will Need

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Programming, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) At least 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of Just-in-Time (JIT), Sequential Part Delivery (SPD), In-Line Vehicle Sequencing (ILVS), and Batch manufacturing systems Hands-on experience with maintaining and supporting robots in production Proficiency in PLC programming (2–4 years) with Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000 processors HMI programming experience (2–4 years) with FactoryTalk View Studio and PanelView Plus Vision systems programming experience (2–4 years) using Cognex and Keyence platforms Working knowledge of: Manual and automated assembly systems and control technologies Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) AutoCAD, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, FactoryTalk View Studio Familiarity with industrial networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP) Ability to mentor and support maintenance technicians in developing their controls skills A continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, OEE, TPM, Visual Factory, Kanban) What You Will Do

Design, document, develop, and improve control systems critical to manufacturing processes, from early project development through launch and production support Analyze machine performance and requirements using PLC-based solutions Lead and track the planning, coordination, and implementation of controls-related projects Develop and manage capital investment budgets for automation and tooling initiatives Serve as the primary interface with automation and capital equipment suppliers for control system solutions Support implementation of engineering changes and assist in the transfer of all documentation to production teams prior to SOP Create and maintain torque control system programs and support joint development Specify and select mistake-proofing and error-proofing systems Participate in RFQ and equipment specification development for new capital investments Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability Provide technical leadership for internal and external communications, including design reviews, capacity analysis, and feasibility studies Benchmark processes and technologies across the industry to identify and integrate best practices Support the evaluation of new technologies and suppliers to maintain a competitive advantage Provide hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution for controls-related production issues to minimize downtime If you meet the above qualifications and would like to apply for this position, you may email your up-to-date, professional CV/resume to Tim Dameron @ timothy.dameron@adeccona.com.
