Jetson aims to simplify this process by building a fully vertically integrated home electrification company, making heat pumps accessible, transparent, and affordable for all.
The Opportunity:
We seek a motivated HVAC professional passionate about combating climate change by disrupting the residential HVAC industry. The Field Service Manager will support and equip installation teams to work safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role involves coordinating field operations, resource management, problem-solving, and contributing to process improvements.
What You Will Do:
Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and documentation.
Act as the primary liaison between field crews and internal departments like logistics, procurement, and scheduling.
Conduct site visits for support, coaching, and quality assurance.
Monitor and enforce safety standards and compliance with local codes.
Identify and resolve operational obstacles impacting productivity and timelines.
Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs to ensure project parameters are met.
Maintain understanding of staffing needs based on business inputs.
Train and mentor technicians to improve skills, efficiency, and customer service.
Review installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Support warranty and rework investigations, implementing corrective actions.
Provide performance feedback and assist in evaluations.
Collaborate with leadership to develop operational procedures and best practices.
What You Bring:
Proven experience as an HVAC installer and team lead.
HVAC NATE and Section 608 certification preferred.
5+ years managing field teams.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps.
Leadership and motivational skills.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with scheduling, mobile apps, and management tools.
Valid driver’s license and clean record.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Job Details:
Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000 - $125,000 per year
