Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Spine Surgeon to join the growing team at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of the expanding network and the prestigious JFK Neuroscience Institute. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with a full spectrum of spinal disorders. Perform both elective and emergent spine surgeries, including minimally invasive and complex reconstructive procedures. Manage degenerative conditions, spinal trauma, tumors, and deformities of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, pain management specialists, and physiatrists to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives. Provide teaching and mentorship opportunities for residents and medical students. Highlights

M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery Completion of an accredited Spine Surgery Fellowship Must have or be eligible for an active New Jersey Medical License, CDS, and DEA Compensation
Minimum Starting Salary: $714,049 HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. Education and Certifications : Degrees attained, residencies, fellowships, board certifications, research, and publications. Productivity : Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction. Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding:
