Overview

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Divisional Chief of Hematology and Oncology. We are looking for a passionate clinician who is board certified in Hematology and Oncology, with a sub-specialty expertise in either hematologic malignancies or solid tumors. The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategic vision for patient-oriented cancer care services, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based treatment and cancer screening within the community. The physician leader will collaborate with the hospital's clinical and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and effective care in a welcoming, patient-centric environment. Candidates should have demonstrated leadership experience within a community cancer center, proven success collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to research and clinical missions. Candidates with existing ties to the community or interest in building community relationships are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and demonstrate excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Create and execute the strategic vision for cancer care services for this region, including cancer screening, clinical programs, patient experience, and financial metrics. Create, lead, and direct a patient-centered, multidisciplinary clinical care program for cancer services and clinical education. Expand the number of patients served by the medical center and the range of cancer care services. Advocate for and enable interdepartmental and interdisciplinary clinical services. Examine, diagnose, and manage disorders and diseases of the blood, bone marrow, vascular, and immune systems. Consult with patients to determine the extent of illness or to help diagnose conditions. Qualifications

Board certified in Hematology and Oncology, with sub-specialty expertise in hematologic malignancies or solid tumors. MD or MD/PhD degree with demonstrated excellence in education and clinical care. Leadership experience within a community cancer center and a track record of multidisciplinary collaboration; commitment to research and clinical missions. Compensation and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $360,000-$390,000 403B/457 participation with 10% employer contribution and no employee match required Annual CME reimbursement ($3,000-$3,500) including one week of paid CME time Projected annual revenue sharing up to $30,000 contingent on productivity and compliance Vacation: 24 days; Sick days: 12; Holidays: 12 Full NYU benefits package (medical, dental, prescription, disability, life insurance) NYU college tuition remission for employees and dependents NYU Faculty Appointment Loan forgiveness options Medical malpractice coverage at no cost to the employee Visa sponsorship How to Apply
