Position details Position: CHS Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Dept - Nights
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
The RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Schedule and environment
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3/12's)
No On Call
Emergency Department, Level 3 Trauma
13-Week Assignment
36-Hour Guarantee
Qualifications and requirements
2+ Years Experience Required
Patient Ratio: 1:4 - 1:5
No option for Blocked Scheduling
No Option for 48 hr. guarantees
Max RTO: 1 per Schedule; 6 Week Scheduling
Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
Preferred: NRP
Scrub Color: Any Color
EMR: MedHost (EDIS)
