Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department. Adhere to identified nursing standards of practice. Annually demonstrate competence in critical behaviors for the assigned area. Promote unity and teamwork by maintaining a positive attitude and professional relationships with coworkers. Demonstrate IV competency in IV therapy. Demonstrate competency in medication administration and knowledge prior to administering medications. Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate care for each patient. Direct care provided by LVN, CNA, nursing students, or other staff as appropriate within licensure and competency limits. Participate in the organization-wide Performance Improvement Program through orientation, education, quality control, and quality planning activities. Demonstrate the IRAISE values in professional and patient care interactions. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Director/Clinical Lead RN. Qualifications
Education Minimum (Required): Associate degree in nursing Preferred
(Not Required): Bachelor’s degree in nursing Work Experience Minimum (Required): Possess basic computer skills Preferred (Not required): One-year acute care experience; current RN experience in the assigned area of Nursing is preferred Licenses and Certifications Minimum (Required): Current RN licensure in the State of California; BLS certification; ACLS certification when appropriate Pay Transparency The hourly rate range for this position is $49.86 - $76.69.
