WMC Health's Section of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery is seeking fellowship trained trauma surgeons with a specialization in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. We are an ACS verified Level 1 regional Trauma Center, and the trauma program is an integral component of a large academic Department of Surgery and quaternary care hospital. Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and/or surgical critical care. Demonstrated skills in emergency surgery, surgical critical care and trauma patient care, and a record of teaching and research experience (health services, translational or basic science research). MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy, with completion of a surgical residency and a surgical critical care fellowship. About Us

As the primary teaching hospital of New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center has both an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program and an ACGME accredited surgical critical care fellowship program, and you will have ample opportunities to be involved with medical student, resident and fellow education. Academic Appointment at New York Medical College will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
