Overview
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical team at our busy offices in the North Metro Atlanta area. The incoming PA/NP should have a background in pain medicine, be able to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, and be highly knowledgeable in the latest treatments and technologies related to pain management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients are essential. Must have experience with joint injections and evaluation of soft tissue injuries. The incoming provider will be covering our offices in the North metro area and will require travel to each office for clinical care. This position is offered either full time or part time.
Responsibilities
Patient exam/evaluation including physical exam, orthopedics, neurology, musculoskeletal exam, medical history, and review of MRI/CT reports and relevant imaging/studies Direct patient care (diagnoses, treatment plans) for a wide variety of pain types and conditions Perform interventional procedures such as trigger point injections and joint injections Referral as needed for imaging and consultation with other specialties Regularly reassess patients to determine effectiveness and progress Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plan options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications Coordinate treatment plans with patient and other team members Collaborate with supervisory physicians Accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program PA/NP with current GA license 2–5+ years of experience in pain management and joint injections preferred
Schedule
Full time or part time
Salary
$125k-$130k per year
