As an Inpatient Rehabilitation Spinal Cord Injury Physician at Allina Health you are responsible for direct patient care by reviewing patients\' medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient\'s health or situation. You will provide education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families. You will evaluate, diagnose, provide consultation, and make recommendations for patients with developmental or acquired physical or neurological impairment, including the design and monitoring of rehabilitative programs. Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Evaluates, diagnoses, provides consultation and makes recommendations for patients with developmental or acquired physical or neurological impairment including the design and monitoring of rehabilitative programs Diagnosis and evaluation may include electromyography alongside history, physical, X-ray and laboratory examinations Apply expertise in therapeutic exercise, prosthetics, orthotics and mechanical/electrical devices Collaborate with patients to improve health and well-being Practice with cultural sensitivity, respect for autonomy and legal responsibilities Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management Quality: Utilize quality improvement tools to enhance patient care, outcomes, or workflows; may participate in peer review and quality assurance Other duties as assigned Schedule details

Monday – Friday work schedule Call requirement: Wednesday – Thursday overnight pages; Saturday/Sunday inpatient rounding during daytime hours Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency Spinal Cord Injury fellowship Licenses/Certifications

Licensed Physician – MN Board of Medical Practice; board certified or eligible for board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation upon hire ACLS/BLS Tier 3 – Multisource required within 180 days PALS – Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire NRP – Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire Licensed Physician – WI; board certified or eligible for board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation upon hire DEA license upon hire Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire National Provider Identifier upon hire Physical Demands

Medium work: lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs frequently Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $251,900 to $302,450 per year. The pay reflects starting base pay for a full-time FTE and depends on experience, education, and union agreement where applicable.
