Responsibilities

Provide the full range of head and neck oncologic care at the Otolaryngology Clinic and Wilmot Cancer Institute, supported by an established multidisciplinary team of specialists and a robust referral network across the greater Rochester region.

NCI designation: Wilmot Cancer Institute is an NCI-designated cancer center; contribute to research, education, training, community engagement, and high-quality clinical care.

Academic opportunities: Engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Resident teaching is expected; scholarly activities are strongly encouraged. Protected research time and resources are available for candidates pursuing a clinician-scientist career.

Flexible practice design: Practice the full range of academic head and neck oncologic surgery with an established multidisciplinary team serving 27 counties in western and central New York.

Qualifications

MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery.

Commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Research is strongly encouraged; protected research time and resources are available for candidates pursuing a clinician-scientist career.

Microvascular and reconstructive training are preferred.

Compensation And Benefits URMC offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

Expected salary range: 250k - 500k

Salary determined within the job’s range based on market data, experience and expertise, and related position salaries
