Overview
Assistant Professor of Research Physiology and Neuroscience – Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California. USC seeks a candidate to contribute to collaborative research at Alzheimer's Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) at USC in San Diego. This position will also lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. Responsibilities
Provide experimental planning and execution for the project; work closely with other NTRD PIs, team members, and collaborators during their research time. Establish and maintain an independent research program in translational basic science studies for Alzheimer\'s Disease and Related Dementias. Demonstrate strong mentorship skills for junior scientists/PhD candidates and excel at oral and written scientific communication. Lead research initiatives and contribute to collaborative groups and projects in Alzheimer\'s disease translational research. Qualifications
Track record of independent research and participation in collaborative groups/projects in Alzheimer\'s disease translational research. Strong mentorship and leadership abilities; recognized by publication record in leading neuroscience journals. Compensation and Conditions
The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000-$100,000.
