The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology seeking a licensed and experienced
Adult Neuropsychologist
to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, diagnostic services, and consultations for adult patients with neurological, medical, or psychiatric conditions affecting cognitive function. The role involves collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other providers to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. Responsibilities
Conduct evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations for adults (typically ages 18+) referred for a wide range of concerns, including: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) Stroke Dementia (e.g., Alzheimer\'s, vascular) Multiple sclerosis Epilepsy Movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson\'s) Psychiatric conditions with cognitive complaints Interpret cognitive, behavioral, and emotional data and provide integrated reports with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. Provide feedback to patients, families, and referral sources regarding assessment results and clinical implications. Collaborate with physicians (neurologists, psychiatrists, primary care) and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care and treatment planning. Maintain up-to-date and compliant documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD)
in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited program. Completion of a
neuropsychology-focused internship
and
postdoctoral fellowship
in clinical neuropsychology. Licensed or license-eligible as a
psychologist
in Minnesota. Meets criteria for board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology ( ABPP-CN
preferred). Experience working with adult and/or older adult populations with neurological or psychiatric conditions.
