Position Summary Provide supervision and oversight of the foster care and adoption program. Provide case management supervision to the Case Managers/Licensing Specialists. Facilitate and coordinate best practices that maintain the highest level of safety, security and quality care for all clients in the Foster Care and Adoption Program Job Task Summary Coordinate the Foster Care and Adoption program according to applicable performance standards and requirements as set forth by applicable governing regulations, Epworth policy and procedure, the C.A.R.E. practice model, and national accreditation standards Represent Epworth in the community; maintain good working relationships with other social agencies, services, and resources within the community. Reviews and signs all paperwork completed by Epworth Case Managers/Licensing Specialists. Work with Recruiter to market, grow, and expand the Foster Care and Adoption program across the state. Coordinate foster parent events. Maintain program licensure as a child placing agency. Provide input to the Vice President for Finance concerning the development of budget and ensure adherence to budgeting guidelines for the Foster Care and Adoption program. Interview, hire, and train employee applicants. Responsible for outcomes reporting for DSS and accreditation to include but not limited to Critical Incident Reporting, Visitation Tracking, and progress towards DSS performance goals. Participate as appropriate in the PQI process as assigned. Participates in and oversees on-call rotation. Qualifications Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling South Carolina Certified Adoption Specialist Certification required within 6 months of hire. Five years' experience working with children in the child welfare system. Prior experience working with a child-place agency is highly desired. Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communication. Know or could quickly learn any database system required. Must become a certified NCI and certified CARE trainer within 1 year of hire. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
