This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience. Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician/practitioner’s practice under the supervision of radiologists, other licensed staff, and management. Help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. Perform thorough and accurate imaging techniques for patient positioning as per the order. Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations. Relay instructions from the radiologist to the patient or authorized person. Collect patient data, document concerns and care provided in the medical record for the radiologist’s review, and perform diagnostic medical imaging. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed. Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologist program. Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography. MRAD:CA; BLS-CPR Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety. Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist is preferred. Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.
