AV Systems Integration Specialist

TEKsystems . Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AV Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in configuring, preparing, and troubleshooting software/network-based audio-visual product solutions. A solid understanding of AV principles, functionality, and terminology is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
Execute configuration tasks in both lab and field environments within assigned deadlines Fabricate AV system racks in the configuration lab Verify wiring connectivity and terminations during system integration Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues efficiently Load, test, and document results of customized control programs, touch panel files, and DSP builds Configure collaborative solutions from major brands including Neat, Logitech, Polycom, and Cisco Perform final product configuration, testing, and commissioning using Field Commissioning Reports Conduct end-user training on software applications and interfaces Configure manufacturer applications and products based on system/client requirements Support system analysis, design, development, and testing as needed Develop and maintain configuration policies and procedures Review and recommend improvements to existing configuration processes Provide technical guidance to junior specialists Required Skills
AV Installation & Commissioning Conferencing Platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx) Networking fundamentals DSP Programming Use of hand tools and aerial lifts Experience with Crestron, BIAMP, Extron, QSC Audio tuning and equalization Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in AV installation, commissioning, and service AVIXA CTS/CTS-I and CQT certifications preferred Experience with AV industry software platforms and programming Networking certifications or formal training a plus Top Skills
