Overview
We are seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to join the IT & Security Enterprise Applications team. This is a hands-on technical position that combines AI engineering, workflow automation, and business enablement. You’ll work with the team to make AI practical, safe, and valuable for our employees while building scalable workflow automation that transforms business processes. You will implement AI-powered solutions, integrate AI with enterprise systems, and deliver cross-application workflow automation that improves productivity and decision-making. You will work with technologies like ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot and automation platforms such as Mulesoft, Workato and Power Automate, collaborating closely with Enterprise Applications and business teams to design and deliver AI-driven and automated workflows, solutions, and insights. Responsibilities
AI Implementation & Integration: Build AI-enabled workflows, prototypes, and tools that improve productivity and decision-making. Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications (Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, SharePoint, etc.). Build agents in ChatGPT and other AI platforms. Create integrations with prebuilt MCPs provided by vendors and create MCPs to integrate tools like ChatGPT to other data sources. Set the standards for the enterprise when it comes to generative AI and agentic AI. Partner with a team with deep enterprise applications expertise to apply AI to enterprise data assets for advanced analytics and intelligent automation. Workflow Automation & Process Optimization
Lead design and delivery of automation solutions using tools like Mulesoft, Workato, Power Automate, and others to optimize business processes across Growth, Finance, Services, Support, and other teams. Integrate multiple applications and data sources to create end-to-end, event-driven workflows that reduce manual work and improve data accuracy. Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, document requirements, and iterate rapidly on solutions. Establish and promote automation best practices including reusability, security, and monitoring. Business Enablement & Training
Set the standards for the enterprise for generative AI and agentic AI. Work with business teams to identify AI and automation use cases and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Develop training, documentation, and enablement programs so employees can confidently use AI and automation tools. Serve as a coach to help employees use AI and automation responsibly and effectively. Stay current with emerging AI and automation technologies and evaluate their potential within the business. Establish feedback loops with business teams to continuously improve solutions and adoption. What We’re Looking For
3–5 years in engineering, systems integration, or automation roles. Hands-on experience using and integrating generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and building agentic AI solutions. Understanding of MCPs from a deployment and security perspective. Expertise with automation platforms such as Mulesoft, Workato and Power Automate. Ability to integrate AI into workflows using automation platforms. Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. You’d really wow us if you have: Familiarity with enterprise applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, Tableau, Jira, and SharePoint. Experience creating enablement/training programs for new technologies. Knowledge of compliance and data security standards related to AI and automation. Experience designing ingestion for AI/ML workflows or working with unstructured data. Compensation & Location
Estimated Salary Range: $110,000-156,000. Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs and a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
