This role involves advancing teaching, learning, and research activities that connect the museum across campus, facilitating cross-disciplinary engagement, and developing programs with faculty, students, and staff. The manager will lead student programs, collaborate with academic units, and support museum outreach and educational initiatives. Essential Functions Facilitate teaching, learning, and research activities related to the museum's collections and exhibitions, focusing on interdisciplinary collaborations and digital resources. Develop and implement new academic engagement opportunities for college and university partners, including online and in-person programs. Manage student programs, including guiding and advising student workers and volunteers, and assessing program effectiveness. Collaborate with colleagues across museum units and participate in professional development. Contribute to public relations efforts through content creation and review. Support development and fundraising activities, including grant writing and reporting. Represent the museum at regional, statewide, and national levels, engaging with professional communities. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree At least 2 years of experience in teaching or developing academic programs and engagement activities Skills and Abilities Knowledge of interdisciplinary collaboration and program development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with diverse student populations and commitment to diversity and inclusion Strong organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate programs and initiatives Knowledge of assessment and data analysis Experience with fundraising and grant management Desired Qualifications Degree in Arts, Humanities, or related fields Experience designing college-level teaching and programs For more details, visit:
