Job Summary: Collins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. They are seeking an Engineering Solutions Support Manager to provide service management leadership for software support engineers, manage performance metrics, and lead cross-functional collaboration to solve complex challenges. Responsibilities: • Plan and provide service management leadership for a group of software support engineers to ensure commitments are met. • Provide day-to-day support of all Engineering Solution applications for ALM, JSM, Jama, and SVN. • Manage key performance metrics for the support ticketing system, provide regular status reports and sustainment operation reviews. • Lead improvement targets flowing down from Organizational goals. • Partner with engineering and proposal teams to capture requirements, create executable plans, and ensure effective support across functions. • Direct and manage support team, resources, and third-party collaborations to advance Agile initiatives and streamline support solutions. • Lead cross-functional collaboration and root cause analysis to solve complex challenges. • Utilize service management metrics to drive change and improvements. • Coordinate and manage the development of tools and methods to automate processes. Qualifications: Required: • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. • Must be a U.S. citizen. • Experience as a Service Manager leading cross functional teams. • Working experience with Agile methodology. • Strong technical and people leadership skills. • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor and develop staff. • Possess a collaborative way of working. • Demonstrated success in balancing business needs and affordability. Preferred: • Adaptable and flexible to changes in assignments, responsibilities, and resources. • Highly self-motivated and capable of establishing a positive work environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Dedicated to team success over individual success. • Ability to evaluate and report overall performance to plan as appropriate. • Ability to analyze data and determine appropriate actions to correct problems. • Ability to train and mentor other team members. • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). • Experience with Atlassian suite of tools, including JIRA.
