Global Account Director - Tech Mahindra and Telco

Responsibilities Lead a cross-functional virtual team to rapidly grow SUSE’s global business with strategic alliance partners, focusing on Tech Mahindra and other GSIs.
Lead the Tech Mahindra relationship and serve as the subject matter expert for other GSI relationships.
Inspire and coordinate indirect team members across sales, marketing, services, products, and other functions to create strategic plans and take them to market.
Assess the telco market, engage with senior levels to develop a shared strategic vision, and secure executive sponsorship and support.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and co-innovation between SUSE and target GSIs (e.g., Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS) and drive differentiated solutions into the Telco market.
Develop joint sales strategies with partners to maximize market reach and revenue.
Onboard and manage partnerships, negotiate agreements, and ensure alignment with SUSE’s telco portfolio.
Provide ongoing reporting on alliance performance, pipeline, and revenue contributions to senior leadership.
Travel as required to support global activities (up to 30%).
Qualifications and Experience
15+ years in global alliance/partnership leadership roles with both direct and indirect virtual team responsibilities.
10+ years in enterprise infrastructure software industry with alliances, partnership sales, and relationship management responsibilities.
Strong understanding of telecommunications operators’ business needs and how open source solutions address them.
Excellent communications, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to coordinate a virtual team to achieve shared goals.
Experience coordinating with ecosystems of partner types (GSI, ISV, etc.) and executing multi-partner GTM plans.
Knowledge of SUSE’s product portfolio is a strong plus.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% globally.

Compensation and Location (US) If this role is based in the United States, the starting base salary is expected to be between $131,000 and $239,000, plus a commission plan and benefits package (medical, life and disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, etc.).
