Our robust, real-time monitoring platform is used by clients in biotech, pharma, R&D, IVF/ART, and bio-/ cryo-banking to protect their scientific samples, equipment, and facilities, as well as to meet stringent compliance requirements. Our solution has been proven and extensively used globally.
As our Account Executive, you will be a key member of our Business Development team. You'll gain an in-depth understanding of the service we offer and the needs of the customers we serve. You will focus on lead qualification and establishing early-stage opportunities using a variety of inbound and outbound methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow and ultimately manage all aspects of the customer relationship.
Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Prospect new accounts and engage with potential new customers using various methods for outreach and engagement including social selling, phone, and email
Respond to inbound inquiries generated by website content and marketing campaigns
Develop and maintain knowledge of the XiltriX solution, services, industries and workflows
Conduct qualifying conversations with target prospects in a consultative approach over the phone to determine business needs, budget, and timeline
Provide software demonstrations and sales presentations to potential clients
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and KPIs
Support execution of Marketing campaigns as part of a cross-functional team
Diligent documentation of all activities in CRM (HubSpot)
Meet with prospects and customers at networking events, conferences and site meetings
Assist sales & marketing in gathering intelligence on accounts, prospective buyers using online research tools
Leverage internal and external training resources to develop and expand your business development skills
Participate in regular Marketing and Sales meetings
Assist with promotion and execution of company events
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of experience in a sales role breaking into new accounts and building relationships
Experience selling SaaS and/or technical services to the life sciences industry
Experience, exposure, or skills with consultative selling
Able to explain complicated topics simply and with targeted messaging
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and monthly goals
Comfortable with cold calling, inbound and outbound prospecting efforts
Experience working longer B2B sales cycles
Strong understanding of the Sales process and procedures, including experience in engaging with customers and nurturing relationships
Experience and understanding with qualifying leads and follow-up
Positive, self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and meet aggressive team goals, as well as personal quotas
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team structure
Highly organized with critical attention to details
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in science or business
Strong functional use of Google Office (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Accurately record/submit sales calls activities, expense reports, and written reports
Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
Able to work on-site at our office in the 92121 area of San Diego, CA
