Responsibilities
Lead on-floor and stockroom operations; train associates and deliver exceptional in-store shopping experiences.
Develop and motivate associates to maximize sales potential.
Provide in-the-moment coaching to store staff for floor operations, customer service, stockroom management and standards execution.
Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
Train associates on store operations, product knowledge, policies, and procedures.
Execute action plans to optimize results and manage all daily store operations.
Ensure appropriate associate coverage to deliver a great customer experience.
Oversee the checkout process and merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations.
Monitor and analyze customer service quality and coach accordingly; build effective staff schedules.
Promote an environment focused on delivering outstanding in-store experiences.
Resolve customer service issues to positive outcomes; model the Express customer experience standards.
Demonstrate expert product knowledge and understanding of company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Assist with product launches, visual presentation, signage placement, and related tasks.
Other essential duties as directed by supervision.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Education: High School or Equivalent
Years of Experience: 1
Proficient in the use of technology (iPad, registers)
Available to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours
Meets physical requirements
Critical Skills & Attributes
Previous retail experience preferred
Effective communication with customers, peers, and supervisors
Demonstrated sales accountability
Collaborative team player
Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers/processes simultaneously
