Responsibilities

Our Tucson division is hiring for an Outside Sales Counselor based out of our community located in Southeast Tucson. The Outside Sales Counselor’s primary responsibility is to embrace Meritage Homes’ active sales culture to generate new home sales by leveraging relationships with Realtors and new home buyers, utilizing all available tools to demonstrate value, sell, and close homes with an emphasis on exceptional customer service. The Outside Sales Counselor will also serve as the liaison between Realtors and new homebuyers during the building process, with construction, the Closing Department, and Title Company. Responsibilities include: Achieve sales and customer service goals as set by your Sales Leader. Maintain and cultivate Realtor relationships to create long-term partnerships and recurring business. Connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors and support the homebuying process. Ensure the community, homes, and surrounding areas are pristine to provide a quality experience for visitors. Refine and improve personal sales presentations to effectively convert leads. Use insight and consultative techniques to educate customers and influence sales. Manage potential customer discovery and follow-up using CRM systems. Engage visitors, demonstrate models and homes, and schedule showings through available technology. Provide community, home site, floor plan, and pricing information. Ask for the sale confidently. Drive traffic and sell from multiple communities. Present the Purchase Agreement professionally, explaining all relevant details. Utilize Salesforce.com for prospecting and ensure timely completion of paperwork and reports. Assist buyers with scheduling and coordinate with lenders, design studios, and title companies. Maintain product knowledge, including community details, plans, features, and competitive analysis. Stay informed on local markets, laws, trends, and regulations related to home buying. Update buyers throughout construction and ensure customer satisfaction from initial visit to closing. Complete onboarding and training, promote the company's image, and attend meetings. Work nights, weekends, and most holidays as required. Qualifications

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma; some college or Bachelor's preferred. Experience:

3+ years in outside sales; 1+ year in new home sales preferred. Technical Skills:

Valid Real Estate License may be required in some states; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication, professionalism, customer service, and sales skills; ability to handle stress and work with diverse personalities. Judgment & Mental Abilities:
