Overview Carpenter role at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. McCarthy is currently accepting applications for union Carpenters with experience on large construction job sites. The Carpenter role is essential and supports the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities

Complete concrete work

Construct the formwork for placement of concrete, assemble column or wall formwork (gang forms, stick build, slip forms, etc.)

Set anchor bolts templates

Erect temporary handrails and related safety items

Sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts and drilling

Qualifications

3+ years experience

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization

The pay rate for this role in California is $31.89 - $76.30 per hour. The base pay actually offered follows the minimum wage from the pay scale agreed upon in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and may also vary depending on the candidate’s work location, experience, and skills.
