This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division, which comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. Responsibilities

Develop an in-depth technical understanding of assigned programs, including awareness of all anti-tamper (AT) related technical issues, and be prepared to answer technical and risk-based questions for customers and senior DoD decision makers. Coordinate reviews, meetings and test activities for assigned programs and support program needs. Review engineering design documents for anti-tamper solutions (e.g., Anti-Tamper Plans) and conduct vulnerability analysis of system-level AT architectures. Author technical reports documenting vulnerabilities of proposed AT solutions and provide technical recommendations for key DoD acquisition decision makers. Support technical interchange meetings and program reviews with US Air Force and DoD program offices and weapon system/sensor developers; provide real-time feedback to help achieve acceptable AT implementations. Author written feedback for US Air Force and DoD program offices and weapon system/sensor developers to document identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities of AT solutions. Essential Job Responsibilities

Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Translate customer requirements into total systems solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints; perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition. Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 7 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD; or 13 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent. B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related engineering disciplines. Minimum three (3) years of DoD Anti-Tamper engineering experience. 5-20 years of engineering experience including systems engineering, electronic design, software development, system integration and/or test and failure analysis. Working knowledge of modern electronic components including microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASIC technologies. Proficient technical writing skills to generate technical documents and presentations; good verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks; Secret clearance minimum to start. Preferred Requirements

Experience with DoD sensor and weapon system engineering and development. Hardware and/or software reverse engineering experience is a plus. Experience with Defensive Cyber technologies and techniques is a plus. Salary and Benefits
