$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and high-end residential projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor bidding. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project specifications and requirements. Conduct site visits to gather information for accurate estimating and assess project feasibility. Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality work and adherence to project timelines. Monitor project progress and budget, making adjustments as necessary to maintain project goals. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed of project status and address any concerns that arise. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects. Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5 to 10 years of experience as a construction estimator and general contractor. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Job Offer
