Job Description As a Field Application Engineer at Eagle Electronics, you will serve as a crucial bridge between our engineering teams and customers. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring successful deployment and adoption of our cutting-edge cellular module technologies. This role blends technical problem-solving, firmware-level expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to guide our customers through integration, optimization, and lifecycle support. You’ll join a nimble and highly skilled team that thrives on innovation and impact. As we scale our footprint in the domestic cellular hardware space, you will be at the forefront—translating customer needs into technical requirements and driving meaningful product evolution.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical point of contact for customer engagements across pre-sales, integration, and post-deployment phases.

Provide hands-on support for integrating Eagle’s cellular modules into diverse customer platforms and ecosystems.

Collaborate closely with internal hardware, firmware, and software teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product development.

Maintain detailed records of customer technical requirements, test outcomes, and field performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

A strong sense of customer empathy and passion for providing the best service and product possible.

3+ years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or semiconductor field engineering

Strong understanding of cellular technologies (4G LTE, 5G NR, NB-IoT, eMTC) and associated protocols (AT commands, TCP/IP stack, etc.).

Proficient in C for embedded systems.

Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cellular module vendors (e.g., Quectel, u-blox, Telit) or IoT gateway providers.

Background in customer-facing roles such as application engineering or technical sales.

Experience with developing applications in QuecOpen.

Experience working in a fast-paced startup or early-stage hardware company.
