We are seeking a highly skilled

Crash Structures CAE Specialist

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing crashworthiness structures to enhance vehicle safety performance. This role requires strong expertise in CAE tools, crashworthiness standards, and the ability to work across the entire vehicle development cycle—from concept design through product launch. Key Responsibilities Develop and define structural sections for lead structures and load paths to withstand

front, side, rear, and roof crash modes . Evaluate

energy absorption, structural integrity, and vehicle behavior

under multiple impact scenarios. Conduct

crashworthiness simulations

using LS-DYNA to predict structural performance and occupant protection. Incorporate

material characterization data

into LS-DYNA to model complex failure modes and behaviors. Design and optimize load paths for

high-speed and low-speed crash events , ensuring structural balance and effective energy management. Ensure compliance with

FMVSS, ECE, USNCAP, and IIHS

safety standards. Support the program from

concept through launch , contributing to design reviews, safety development, and crash optimization. Correlate

virtual analysis with physical test results , ensuring accuracy and validation of simulation predictions. Document and present

CAE results, recommendations, and sign-off reports

to cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field . Hands-on experience with

LS-DYNA

and pre-/post-processing tools (ANSA, HyperMesh, Animator, etc.). Strong knowledge of

crashworthiness, energy absorption mechanisms, and structural design principles . Familiarity with

automotive safety regulations

(FMVSS, ECE, NCAP, IIHS). Solid understanding of

high-strength materials

and their behavior under crash loads. Proven ability to
