Dakkota Integrated Systems Key Areas of Responsibility Receives, stores, and place requisition orders for production equipment parts, fixtures, shop and facility supplies. Take inventory and cycle count stock regularly Responsible for organizing the maintenance crib area, maintaining inventory management system and vending systems They oversee the maintenance PM process, keep record of work orders and report PM and open issue status to the Engineering/Maintenance Manager Enter transactions, validate information, maintain databases and place orders. Order and maintain production equipment spare parts using spare parts lists and notifications from all users Ensure proper packaging and storage of inventory Order, stock, and count shop supplies, materials, and tools Store crib materials and spare parts in an orderly fashion, maintaining min/max inventory levels Support inventory audits and cycle count schedules Record all inventory adjustments in DudeSolutions inventory management system Relabel stock and record changes in DudeSolutions as needed Bring to the Manager/Supervisor’s attention any deficiencies in shop equipment or tooling Respond to expedited requests and coordinate parts and materials for delivery as required Assist in maintaining general shop cleanliness and organization Administrate PM processes and procedures using DudeSolutions Inventory System to manage PM schedules and work orders Update and maintain record of PM’s as requested by engineering and management Collect Maintenance work logs daily and adjust any used spare parts Develops and maintains reports including PM status and Open Issues work order report Ship and receive equipment for repair as needed Maintain an open relationship with parts vendors and suppliers Familiarize yourself with production equipment, part functions and support equipment May occasionally perform special projects, perform other duties as assigned Assists in implementing projects or work orders, as required. Document all activities as required. Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety. Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management. Competencies Communication Proficiency Organization skills Limits of Authority Advise Department Manager/ Supervisor of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results. Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation. Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected. Basic Education, Experience And Skills Required Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education 1-3 years applied experience in the materials department or manufacturing environment, preferably automotive Self-disciplined to perform time sensitive assignments with high activity, automotive, JIT experience Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) Strong communication skills both written and verbal Seniority level
