As a member of the Civil Engineering team in Metro's Capital Division, the Civil Engineer IV (Transit Engineer IV) performs advanced-level engineering for both major and smaller Transit facility capital projects, including the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, and design reports, assisting project managers with the establishment of project budgets and schedules, and the performance of quality control reviews of consultant designs. This position also provides planning level support to Transit Planners in the development of integrated multi-modal transportation facilities.
