RoviSys Building Technologies . Overview Lead Controls Systems Engineers are responsible for designing and leading building automation projects. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Sales Support (20%) Provide technical guidance for a project team of 2-5 engineers Identify and assign tasks within the project team Lead customer meetings Assist with proposal generation by estimating hardware costs and engineering effort Maintain relationships with existing customers Instrumentation & Electrical Design (30%) Create instrument lists from P&ID drawings Research and select appropriate instrumentation and controls hardware Compile submittal documentation Create panel layouts and electrical schematics Procure hardware and support fabrication technicians Inspect completed control enclosures System Design and Configuration (30%) Lead customer design review meetings Configure user interfaces, HMI screens, and control algorithms Perform internal testing and draft documentation Assist with customer demonstrations and acceptance testing Onsite System Startup (20%) Install software and configurations onsite Perform point-to-point checks, calibration, and functional tests Troubleshoot, support customer testing, and program modifications Train customer personnel Qualifications Technical Experience Bachelor's Degree or related technical degree 3+ years of relevant experience Controls experience with specified platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Aveva, Inductive, Distech, Johnson Controls, Tridium, etc.) Knowledge of scripting, OPC servers, and virtualization tools is preferred HVAC Knowledge Understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and P&IDs Experience with testing and instrumentation for HVAC Pay Range: $80k - $130K Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and IT Industry: Facilities Services
