This role involves leading a multi-discipline team on underground transmission line projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinating with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities

Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians Manage diverse and challenging projects across our portfolio of design services and EPC programs Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule Support client interaction, proposals, and business development Develop and manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines for assigned projects Actively manage project changes with the Client in coordination with the Project Manager Review lower level engineering work and coordinate multi-discipline activity; may serve as the engineer of record for assigned projects Foster good working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and adapt work approaches accordingly Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members Occasional travel to support site visits, design reviews, and client meetings Ensure compliance with Black & Veatch quality program and applicable client/industry standards Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program Minimum of 8 years related work experience Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing EPC or design services underground transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United States Experience in high voltage underground transmission line design and lifecycle, including equipment specification development Experience developing plan and profile drawings Working knowledge of CYMCAP and Pull-Planner Strong communication skills and client relationship development Advanced engineering design principles knowledge and applicable standards Experience coordinating procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, and construction support Familiarity with proposal processes and engineering estimates Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred Certifications

Most positions require professional registration or licensure in the home country or active pursuit of such registration; additional registrations may be needed when practicing in other countries. Availability of exceptions is at management’s discretion. Work Environment

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion Travel to client sites as required Compensation and Benefits

Annual compensation range for this role is $114,933.00 - $219,360.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits portfolio (medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness, and a 401k plan). 100% ESOP-owned company with stock-based rewards and opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
