AndrenaM LLC
Senior Electrical Integration Engineer
AndrenaM LLC, Hawthorne, California, United States, 90250
About Andrenam
We’re building sonar and sensing systems that bring light to the last dark domain: the ocean. Our team includes alumni from SpaceX, Anduril, ABL, and Qualia. We build full-stack—from physics to perception to product—with speed, elegance, and an unwavering commitment to the mission.
We believe the maritime domain will define the next century of geopolitics and global security. We’re here to shape it.
About this role Andrenam is seeking a Senior Electrical Integration Engineer who is passionate about advancing real-time maritime communication technology to build the central nervous system for maritime autonomy. This is a unique opportunity to be a core part of our founding team here in Hawthorne California, shaping the product and technology from the ground up.
Our main engineering challenge is to develop a real-time data platform that can ingest, process, store, and analyze data from thousands of autonomous and semi-autonomous marine systems. This system must be built to seamlessly handle a wide variety of sensors, hardware interfaces, data sources, and AI-driven analytics, all with military-grade security and robustness.
In This Role
Own the full electrical integration of our systems, ensuring seamless operation across all components.
Tackle complex engineering challenges related to electrical systems integration, from concept through deployment.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including software engineers and autonomy experts, to develop and refine our technology.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end electrical integration of COTS and custom components, designing, building, and testing electrical subsystems and harnessing with focus on manufacturability, testability, and ease of troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain comprehensive build procedures for electrical integration, including work instructions and assembly procedures for electronics.
Define troubleshooting procedures and workflows with clearly defined instructions for debugging and resolving common issues.
Establish and document test criteria for both individual components and overall system performance.
Conduct lab and field testing of electrical systems and lead integration troubleshooting during deployments.
Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) test bench operations and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for electrical subsystems.
Ensure all documentation supports repeatability and knowledge transfer across the engineering team while keeping systems modular and open to modification.
Some Types of Experiences We\'re Especially Excited to See
Proven experience in electrical systems integration with a portfolio of successful COTS and custom component integration projects.
Expertise in designing and testing electrical subsystems for high-reliability and high-performance applications in challenging environments.
Proficiency in electrical testing methodologies and troubleshooting complex integrated systems.
Experience with developing comprehensive technical documentation, build procedures, and test protocols.
Knowledge of electrical harnessing, system-level integration, and manufacturability considerations.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for defense and maritime applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving system requirements.
Previous experience in a startup or rapidly evolving technology environment is highly desirable.
Why join us? Andrenam is an innovative, mission-driven company at the intersection of maritime autonomy and defense. We offer:
Competitive salary
Long-term equity incentive program with significant growth potential.
Flexible PTO and paid holidays.
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance.
