Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in mixed-signal circuit design and development. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to understand product requirements and assess technical feasibility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in component and system-level electronic design, particularly in developing sensor interfaces that handle very low-level signals with high source impedance. Experience in medical device design is preferred due to the unique safety constraints that limit conventional solutions.

Responsibilities

Design analog circuits using instrumentation amplifiers, transimpedance amplifiers, filters, and ADCs, with a strong emphasis on low leakage and 50/60 Hz rejection filtering.

Develop sensor interfaces for very low-level signals with high source impedance.

Work on printed circuit board development, hardware verification testing, and support for agency compliance testing in accordance with EMC and IEC 60601-1 standards.

Write design specifications, participate in product planning and design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Maintain familiarity with ESD requirements and analog mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, and low-noise techniques.

Validate designs and ensure product performance using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators; manage signal and power integrity through simulation and modeling tools (SPICE, Spectre, ADS, MATLAB).

Qualifications

BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5-9 years' experience with B.S.; or 3-6 years' experience with an M.S.

Proficient at quickly solving medium-complexity engineering problems

Experience taking a device from design to production

Experience working in a highly regulated industry

Detailed documentation skills

Medical Device experience preferred
