As a Product Engineer, you will focus on improving manufacturing processes by optimizing component manufacturing process design and any subsequent assembly for increased productivity, safety, quality, and cost. You will analyze dimensional data, identify issues in the manufacturing process, and document case studies to improve future designs and processes. Responsibilities

Data Analysis:

Analyzing dimensional data from various sources, including manufacturing processes, tooling, and supplier parts, to identify root causes of problems. Problem Identification:

Identifying and resolving issues related to dimensional accuracy, fit, and function of components and assemblies. Process Optimization:

Developing and implementing short- and long-term solutions to improve manufacturing processes, focusing on quality, repeatability, and cost reduction. Dimensional Control:

Providing expertise on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and creating datum schemes that minimize tolerance stack-up. Quality Assurance:

Actively monitoring dimensional accuracy through various measurement systems CMM, Blue Light (GOM), CAD, surface plate, manual tools, dedicated gauges, and collaborating with quality and design engineers to ensure product quality. Tooling and Fixture Modification:

Providing hands-on experience in modifying tooling and fixtures to improve dimensional accuracy and repeatability. Possesses working knowledge of wax injection tooling, equipment, and best practices. Documentation and Reporting:

Documenting case studies, statistical reports, AS9102 Form 3 Inspection Reports, and best practices related to dimensional engineering. Collaboration : Collaborating with various departments, including production, design, and quality, to ensure that dimensional engineering principles are effectively applied throughout the organization. Training and Mentoring:

Mentoring other engineers and technicians in dimensional engineering analysis and best practices. Course Instruction:

Providing relevant course instruction on dimensional engineering principles and practices. Requirements
