Field Service Technician

to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of Sepro robotic systems through expert installation, startup, maintenance, and repair services. This position requires

80% travel

to customer sites for on-site support. Key Responsibilities: Startup & Installation:

Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Oversee and assist customers with equipment unpacking and initial setup. Validate system installation, including mechanical setup and cable positioning. Test and verify robot functionality, including integration with presses and peripheral systems. Program and configure robotic systems to meet production specifications.

Repair & Service:

Utilize diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues. Conduct inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and execute necessary repairs.

Customer Training & Support:

Provide hands-on, on-site training for customers on robot operation, programming, and maintenance. Offer remote troubleshooting and technical support via the Sepro Hot Line.

Documentation:

Prepare detailed service reports and maintain records of modifications and repairs.

Qualifications: Associate degree in

Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of

two years of experience

in field service, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring schematics. Proficiency with diagnostic instruments, basic hand and power tools, and field equipment. Skills: Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently while effectively managing workload and priorities. Flexibility to travel

80% of the time

to support customer needs. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and lifting up to
