Trueline’s client, a nationally recognized construction and infrastructure firm, is seeking a Construction Design-Build Proposer to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping innovative and competitive proposals for complex design-build projects. What You’ll Do as the Construction Design-Build Proposer: Lead the end-to-end development of detailed design-build proposals, including timelines, technical narratives, and deliverables Work closely with clients to understand project objectives and constraints, translating them into actionable design and construction strategies Collaborate with internal teams—designers, estimators, schedulers, and project managers—to create cohesive and forward-thinking proposals Interpret and respond to RFQ and RFP requirements, ensuring full compliance with submission guidelines and delivery models Draft organizational charts and technical documentation outlining roles, workflows, and construction methodologies Consolidate input from all contributors to present a clear, compelling, and accurate technical plan Deliver proposal presentations that highlight innovation, feasibility, and cost-saving construction techniques Stay current on industry standards, construction codes, and evolving delivery models Track proposal performance to identify trends and improve future submissions Must-Haves as the Construction Design-Build Proposer: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field 15–20 years of experience in the construction sector, particularly in managing public infrastructure projects such as bridges, treatment plants, roads, substations, and parking facilities Strong command of construction operations, estimating principles, and project management frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Comfortable interpreting bid specs, technical drawings, and construction documentation Skilled in Microsoft Office and proposal development tools Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational capabilities Effective collaborator who can unify diverse technical teams around a single vision Associate Member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), or willingness to obtain within two years Nice-To-Haves as the Construction Design-Build Proposer: Experience presenting proposals to public agencies or major clients Familiarity with lean construction or other advanced project delivery methodologies Track record of driving value engineering or cost reduction through innovative design-build strategies Our Client Offers: A competitive salary range of $150K–$225K High-visibility role with influence over major infrastructure pursuits A collaborative environment that encourages innovation, precision, and impact Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
