Senior Field Integration Engineer – Bloomfield, CT Base pay range: $89,337.00/yr - $146,289.00/yr This position is a customer-facing role providing support to install and optimize CO2 laser products, conduct hands-on training for customers and Coherent personnel, and serve as the primary escalation contact for customer issues. Responsibilities

Enable new customer design wins through early integration engineering support. Support customer service issues by coordinating with Global Service Team, Sales and Product Line Management to resolve customer issues quickly using Global Service teams and Bloomfield resources. Act as the first escalation contact to the Business Unit for customer complaints and support. Visit customers; install and integrate CO2 products at selected sites. Train customers on laser use, integration, and applications-related issues. Resolve service/integration issues through on-site visits; document customer visits. Train Coherent personnel on CO2 products; train and certify CO2 product trainers at Bloomfield and other Coherent facilities and customer sites. Coordinate tracking of trained personnel with the Corporate Training team; monitor training and identify retraining needs. Train personnel at Field and Contact Centers; develop training materials (course syllabi, manuals, integration and service manuals, instructor manuals). Own Installation Manual, Service Manual, Installation Checklists; maintain selected product documentation as part of New Product Integration. Provide customer communications on new products (PIBs), changes, and field issues (FSBs); support data analysis for Service and Product Marketing teams (service events, installation base, pricing, customer feedback, etc.). Represent the voice of the customer for laser use, installation and maintenance during New Product Development. Education & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience. BS/MS Technical Degree or equivalent. Skills

CO2 Laser product knowledge; understanding of laser specifications, electrical interfaces, and diagnostics. CO2 Laser integration & applications knowledge (cutting, drilling); familiarity with cutting heads, scanner heads, motion systems, interfaces, beam diagnostics, etc. Ability to communicate with customers; customer-friendly attitude. Written communication skills; ability to create clear, organized training and product documents with minimal assistance. Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights. Strong time management; self-directed work; ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders. Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement. Leadership in a team environment; ability to manage multiple complex tasks. Travel expected: 25% – 50%. Working Conditions

Industrial/manufacturing environment with limited clean room exposure. Safety-focused work; frequent travel to customer sites (overnight) and occasional international travel (approximately 25%–50%). Rotational on-call time and varying site conditions by location; flexibility required. Physical & Safety Requirements

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; safe ladder work; PPE as required (safety glasses, PPE, etc.). Good manual dexterity. Follow site EHS procedures and corporate EHS standards. Quality, Environmental & Culture
